Transcript of audio:
So I've been writing about introverts and highly sensitive people for about a decade. I first came across research about being a highly sensitive person, oh, quite a long time ago at this point.
I came across Dr. Elaine Aaron's research, and I remember reading it and just feeling like it was really life changing and empowering for me, because it explained things about myself that I had never understood before.
And it explained, things I'd struggled with. And I think most importantly, it explained that I wasn't alone. There were other highly sensitive people out there in the world like me.
So I remember thinking that if other people had this information, I think it would be life changing to them too. So I set about to write about both both introverts and highly sensitive people on my blog, and it really just started out as a passion project.
I wasn't planning to to make this career out of it. I really just was excited to share information with people.
And my goal was to make it accessible and to make it easy and even fun to engage with because I wanted I wanted the information to be out there for people in an easy to understand way.
