"Sometimes life takes us on an unexpected ride and we don't know how long the ride is going to take and we don't know how far we're gonna have to go."
Tina Harlow continues, "We know that there's going to be bumps and jolts along the way and the best thing that we can do is to recognize that whatever comes our way, we have the capacity to deal with it."
But, she adds, "This particular ride happens to be accompanied by a lot of anxiety."
She notes, "The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines anxiety as an overwhelming sense of apprehension and fear, often marked by physical signs such as tension sweating and increased pulse rate, and by doubt concerning the reality and nature of the threat and by self-doubt about one's capacity to deal with it."
Can you relate to that? I certainly do.
